En 2017, el Grupo de Trabajo de Cl\u00ednicas Falsas de la coalici\u00f3n Floridanos por la Libertad Reproductiva comenz\u00f3 a investigar los centros de embarazo antiaborto en Florida para comprender mejor sus operaciones. Los miembros del Grupo de Trabajo buscaron una visi\u00f3n clara del Programa de Servicios de Apoyo al Embarazo de Florida, que impulsa numerosos centros locales de embarazo antiaborto en toda Florida mediante un contrato con la Red de Atenci\u00f3n al Embarazo de Florida, un agente fiscal y contratista cuya junta directiva est\u00e1 compuesta por extremistas antiaborto.<\/p>

La tasa de abortos en Florida ha ido en descenso desde 2009. A pesar de ello, el gobierno estatal de Florida destina millones de d\u00f3lares de los contribuyentes a centros de embarazo antiaborto que no ofrecen servicios m\u00e9dicos. En cambio, estos centros promueven informaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica inexacta y contenido religioso a costa del contribuyente. Estos mismos servicios, con altos costos de reembolso, no est\u00e1n sujetos a una supervisi\u00f3n exhaustiva por parte del estado.<\/p>
