{"id":4935,"date":"2026-02-17T17:00:27","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T17:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/floridareprofreedom.org\/?p=4935"},"modified":"2026-02-17T17:01:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T17:01:09","slug":"una-crisis-sanitaria-en-ciernes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/floridareprofreedom.org\/es\/2026\/02\/17\/a-health-crisis-in-the-making\/","title":{"rendered":"Una crisis sanitaria en ciernes."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si un adolescente llamara a una l\u00ednea directa de prevenci\u00f3n del suicidio y solo le colgaran? <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si se aprueba el Proyecto de Ley 173 de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes en la Legislatura de Florida, esa ser\u00e1 s\u00f3lo una de las muchas consecuencias peligrosas e inmediatas que enfrentar\u00e1n los j\u00f3venes de Florida.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Idealmente, todos los adolescentes hablar\u00edan con sus padres sobre temas serios, como decisiones sobre su atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y su salud mental, y la mayor\u00eda lo hace. Pero en la vida real, esto no es posible. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">siempre <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si este proyecto de ley se convierte en ley, esos ni\u00f1os pronto se quedar\u00e1n atr\u00e1s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>El Proyecto de Ley 173 de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes y el Proyecto de Ley 166 del Senado plantean una amenaza peligrosa para los j\u00f3venes y su futuro.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Si se aprueba, este proyecto de ley no permitir\u00e1 que a los menores se les receten anticonceptivos (o incluso que obtengan informaci\u00f3n al respecto), reciban tratamiento para una ETS o accedan a servicios de salud mental que podr\u00edan salvarles la vida si sus padres no dan permiso.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/letters\/tell-florida-legislators-oppose-hb-173-and-protect-young-people?source=direct_link&amp;\"><b>D\u00edgale al Comit\u00e9 de Educaci\u00f3n y Empleo de la C\u00e1mara que se OPONGA al Proyecto de Ley 173 hoy.\u00a0<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maestros, m\u00e9dicos y consejeros son expertos capacitados que colaboran con los padres a diario y comparten el objetivo de proteger a los j\u00f3venes. Pero la realidad es que no todas las familias est\u00e1n presentes o se encuentran en condiciones seguras para participar en las decisiones, y esos j\u00f3venes a\u00fan merecen respeto, dignidad y acceso a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica.<\/span><b> Si se aprueba este proyecto de ley, los menores, especialmente aquellos en hogares abusivos y negligentes, podr\u00edan perder su <\/b><b><i>solo<\/i><\/b><b> puntos de acceso para recibir la atenci\u00f3n que desean y necesitan.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>La mayor\u00eda de los padres desean, con todo derecho, participar en la vida de sus hijos adolescentes, pero cuando eso no puede suceder, la seguridad debe ser lo primero.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Adem\u00e1s de quedar excluido de los recursos de salud mental en situaciones de crisis, bajo este proyecto de ley, a un adolescente se le podr\u00eda negar el tratamiento para una ETS que podr\u00eda provocar c\u00e1ncer, reducci\u00f3n de las funciones motoras, infertilidad e incluso la muerte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un proyecto de ley similar fue aprobado en Idaho y durante su primer a\u00f1o como ley, 1.500 j\u00f3venes llamaron a la l\u00ednea directa de prevenci\u00f3n del suicidio del estado y la mayor\u00eda colg\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de que les dijeran que ten\u00edan que comunicarse con uno de sus padres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Director del 988 declar\u00f3:,<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cSi un adolescente nos dice que tiene tendencias suicidas pero no corre un riesgo inminente, lo que significa que puede no tener un plan, puede no tener acceso a medios letales, todav\u00eda siente tendencias suicidas y la mejor pr\u00e1ctica es\u2026 ofrecer una llamada de seguimiento al d\u00eda siguiente dentro de las 24 horas. <\/span><\/i><b><i>Y no podemos ofrecer esa llamada de seguimiento o apoyo a los menores debido a esta ley.<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&quot;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/letters\/tell-florida-legislators-oppose-hb-173-and-protect-young-people?source=direct_link&amp;\"><b>Inste a los legisladores a defender la seguridad de los j\u00f3venes floridanos oponi\u00e9ndose a la HB 173.<\/b><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What if a teenager called a suicide prevention hotline just to be hung up on?
