生殖权利新闻综述 – 2025年6月6日

Happy Pride Month! All-year round, we are committed to the ongoing fight for bodily autonomy, dignity, and a state that embraces each of us for exactly who we are, who we love, and the decisions we make for ourselves and families. Attacks on reproductive health care and gender equity are deeply intertwined with attacks on LGBTQ+ representation and health care for transgender Floridians.
We are a stronger coalition when we work together and in solidarity, towards a future where Pride is always celebrated, unapologetically and full of community and self-love.
A Pride graphic with text, "No one is free until we all are." A hand holds a megaphone with trans colors and a pride flag coming out.
We are so excited to introduce you to one of our newest Coalition members: The Queer Trans Projectrecently featured by News4Jax! QTP is a Black Trans-led nonprofit serving the U.S. including Puerto Rico and U.S. Territories. Tomorrow, they’re taking new requests for their “Build-a-Queer Kits” program, which provides free, customized kits filled with life-saving gender-affirming items like chest binders, makeup, and health bundles for trans and nonbinary individuals. You can learn more, donate, and request a kit here.

New Resource: Abortion in Florida: Holding the Line in 2025 and the Fight Ahead

The Comms and Research Hub, with support from the Floridians for Reproductive Freedom Coalition, has published the latest update and big picture overview on abortion access in Florida: a post-Legislative Session evaluation, the status of our movement, and our collective messaging. Florida has begun a new chapter: for the first time in recent years, all bills filed in the Florida Legislature attempting to limit reproductive freedom were successfully stopped.

This Session, we did not lose ground; we doubled down, held the line, and strengthened the growing coalition of people committed to getting politicians out of our personal medical decisions. As partners in this work, we hope you find this guide supportive and hopeful.
