يتم احتجاز مراهقات مهاجرات حوامل في تكساس. والآن، هن في عداد المفقودين.

ICE forcibly moved pregnant teens — many of their pregnancies a result of rape — to Texas to avoid providing abortions. Now, some are nowhere to be found.

Since July of 2025, the government has sent الجميع pregnant immigrant minors in federal custody to an overcrowded immigration facility in Texas — a state that bans abortion in nearly all circumstances, including rape and incest.

But now, several of the girls and their infants are no longer at the facility, and officials will not say where they went.

The facility has housed pregnant immigrant girls as young as 13. Nearly half of those pregnancies are the result of rape.

This facility has been banned from receiving pregnant minors over failures to provide timely medical care. This violates the Department of Health and Human Services’ own requirement that pregnant minors must be placed somewhere where they can fully access reproductive healthcare. Yet the injustice continues, and the state of Texas even cut all oversight to this facility, making it harder to find the truth.

The few visits that have been made to the San Benito facility have yielded concerning inconsistencies.

When Congressman Castro visited the facility in early April of 2026, he was told there were 17 minors in custody. A few weeks later, an attorney was told there were 11 children there. But then, facility officials told Congresswoman Dexter that there were only 7 minors inside.

Making matters worse, Congresswoman Dexter was blocked from speaking to any of the teens detained there. Instead, the girls who had originally agreed to talk to her were reportedly intimidated into silence by staff prior to the visit.

We need real answers and safety for these young girls. وقّع على العريضة to demand that Congress immediately launch an investigation, get answers about every girl and infant who has passed through this facility, and stop every abuse they find.
