The article details how Senator Polsky is reintroducing certain bills in the legislature this year. They pertain expanding certain requirements under the 6-week abortion ban, not denying parental rights to parents who have medical marihuana cards, and having better restrictions surrounding firearm and ammunition purchases.

Sen. Polsky says that these changes while minor could be the difference between life and death for somebody.
  • Additionally, the firearm safety regulations would include banning the manufacturing of ghost guns (guns that don’t have a serial number) and ensuring that buying a firearm comes with educational materials and ways of safely storing firearms.
