Reproductive Rights News Roundup – July 20th 2025

If you’re reading this, chances are this time last year, you were giving it everything you had to help pass Amendment 4. While immense financial and political interference by state government prevented us from passing Amendment 4 and ending Florida’s near-total abortion ban, the fight for reproductive freedom must continue.

The ability to access multiple types of health care is critical for the safety, dignity, and futures of all Floridians which is why we are proud to support Florida Decides Healthcare, the citizen-led amendment to expand Medicaid eligibility to 3.7 million Floridians.

Right now, we’re in a critical time to qualify for the ballot through petition. Here’s how you can help make it happen:

  • Print and sign your own petition here.
  • Anyone can print and distribute blank petitions to people they know and hand them out at local events.
  • Ask voters to mail their petitions to: FDH c/o TWG. 12529 Yellow Bluff Rd Unit 6. PMB 168. Jacksonville, FL 32226
  • Please note: Due to recent changes to the law, please do not collect signed petitions. Rather, request voters mail their signed petition back to the campaign.

You can access upcoming volunteer opportunities for petition distribution hereIf phonebanking (calling voters) is more your speed, you can volunteer here.

Each of us loves someone who has had to delay or has been prevented from accessing health care due to cost, or had to face the choice between seeing a doctor or paying other bills. It doesn’t have to be this way. Help us join the fight to bring health care access to our family, friends, and neighbors.

P.S. Can’t remember if you’ve signed the petition, or want to confirm yours was accepted? Call your local Supervisor of Elections to find out.
