The Florida legislature is infamously hostile when it comes to state/church separation issues. Remember the mandatory moment of silence bill, the “In God We Trust” posters, and Bible classes in public schools? Sadly, Christian nationalist extremists are not content with just these types of assaults on Florida schools: they are using their bigoted viewpoints to target other marginalized groups and other issues affecting the reproductive freedom, health, education, and civil rights of all Floridians. Hear from advocates to discuss these legislative assaults on Floridians and what can be done about it.
