Before we dive into today’s newsletter, we’re taking a moment to reintroduce ourselves.
The Floridians for Reproductive Freedom Coalition has been growing in Florida for the last decade. It’s a collection of organizations and people, just like you, who believe that we deserve access to doulas, midwives, and safe births, abortion without barriers or stigma, birth control, real sex education, and safe and affordable communities to call home.
|
These past 10 years have been hard and today, we have fewer rights to control our bodies and futures than the generation before us. But we’ve also made worthy progress: we’ve taken care of one another, and we’ve changed hearts and minds through education, storytelling, and our unwavering belief that no matter where we live, who we love, or how much money we make, we deserve to make the most personal decisions about our own health, without politicians getting in the way.
So whether you’ve been here since Day 1 or you’re just learning about the FRF Coalition and its 85 different organizations, we’re glad you’re here.
|
The fight for reproductive justice will be long-fought and we’re here to continue the work before us, for us, and for the Florida we all deserve.

We are just 18 days away from Election Day and we can’t stress enough the importance of voting NO on Amendment 3.
If passed, Amendment 3 would cause massive cuts to essential services that our communities and families depend on, new and higher fees, and a tax shift for millions of Floridians.
What do we stand to lose?
- Critical local services that would face funding cuts from Amendment 3 include first responders, public hospitals, health and wellness programs, children’s and family services, disaster preparedness and response, libraries, playgrounds, and more.

This week, the Broward County School Board approved a Menstrual Hygiene Product Access Pilot Program after months of organizing, led by students.
This isn’t just a promise to make products available somewhere on campus. The approved pilot will bring free menstrual products directly into designated student restrooms at a minimum of seven schools, with plans to keep them stocked, make sure students know where to find them, and evaluate how the program could eventually expand across Broward County Public Schools.

Congratulations to Prism, Promote Her Period, Youth Action Fund, and all students and advocates who showed up, shared their stories, and dedicated themselves to creating school campuses that support, not shame, young people. (Learn more here.)
