For legislators, it’s already report card season with the release of The People First Report Card. FloridaReportCard.com is a tool released each year by Progress Florida and Florida Watch that gives Floridians the opportunity to see for themselves if their elected officials voted to put people first or if they sided with special interests.
This year, multiple bills impacting our health, communities, and freedoms were scored.

From the Abusers’ Bill of Rights, to barriers to adoption and surrogacy, funding for AIDS medication, book bans, and protections for survivors of domestic violence, the People First Report Card is an important look at who in Florida is a champion for reproductive freedom.

Supply Drive: Support for Columbia

Support Midwives & Families in Colombia w/Sacred Birth Midwifery: Sacred Birth Midwifery, a longtime Central Florida Birth Network member, is fundraising to support the Association of United Midwives of the Pacific Coast (ASOPARUPA) and rural communities in Colombia impacted by the recent earthquake.
Donations are being collected on behalf of ASOPARUPA under the organizing midwifery center’s name; contact Michelle Isla at sacredbirthfl@gmail.com for a donation receipt or confirmation.
